Lianshan is the coupler production base of China Railway Corporation, and also the base of party A-supplied bridge bearings for large and medium-sized railway construction. The production code of Lianshan is LS. In 2010, Lianshan passed the certification of CRCC(China Railway Test & Certification Centre), and successively obtained the production qualifications of wedge, anti-return cotter pin, flat hole round pin, high strength bolt, 13B-type coupler(grade C steel, grade E steel), 16-type coupler, 17-type coupler, 15-type coupler for passenger car, railway bridge bearing, stainless steel bridge bearing, anti-corrosion bridge bearing, seismic isolation bridge bearing, highway bridge bearing, RFC traction rod, small parts of No.13, No.16 and No.17 couplers, adapter, No.16 rotating sleeve, entire striking casting seat, entire center plate, passenger car bolster, upper and lower center plate, coupler yoke key, spring plank carrier, tight-lock coupler, various types of metro couplers, light rail coupler, transition coupler, dual-purpose coupler, 350 km standard EMU axle box body, various types of axle box bodies for metro light rail. 

Lianshan covers an area of more than 160,000 square meters, with registered capital of 110 million yuan and fixed asset of 200 million yuan. Based on casting and forging, it has set up seven production and auxiliary units, including casting, forging, machining, mold manufacturing, heat treatment, physical and chemical inspection, measurement and detection center, logistics distribution center, marketing center and so on. Lianshn produces 20,000 tons of steel castings and 10,000 tons of cast iron annually. Lianshan has passed the certification of American Association of Railroads (AAR) and the certification of Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE), and has the autonomy of import and export.

Lianshan has advanced production equipments, solid quality system(ISO9001：2008）, environmental management system certification（ISO14001:2004）, occupational health safety management system certification（OHSAS18001：2007）, IRIS system certification and complete testing methods. Lianshan possesses a 5000kW substation, a 3-ton electric arc furnace, a 10-ton refining furnace, six 2-ton medium frequency melting furnaces, two 0.5-ton melting furnaces, a 100-ton and a 140-ton rubber vulcanization machines. The company is equipped with the first automatic production line of coupler in China, a fully automatic suspension-type continuous heat treatment production line, a Japanese controllable atmosphere heat treatment production line, The machining workshop is provided with six Japanese Mazak horizontal machining centers, several vertical machining centers. The testing equipments include Lab direct-reading spectrometer made in West Germany, three-dimensional coordinate measuring instrument, WE-3 universal material testing machine, JBN-300B impact testing machine, XJG-05 metallographic analyzer, HLN-11, HBR2-178.5 and HR-150A hardness machines, 10,000J pressure reducing machine test bench and various NDT devices.
